Disney theme park stock might not be as magical as it used to be

A new report from financial market specialist






A new report from financial market specialist Seeking Alpha has suggested that a number of issues facing Disney mean that the company’s stock value could remain volatile for some time to come.

The operator’s theme parks have struggled to return to pre-pandemic levels in terms of attendance, something attributed to a reduction in international travel. This has been coupled with a 109.2% ticket increase against 2019 levels.

Die-hard Disney fans also haven’t been quiet about the fact they were not happy with operations under Bob Chapek’s leadership.

The report concludes that DIS stock could remain uncertain, with this partly attributed to Bob Iger’s restructuring of the company over the next few quarters.
