Disney employees must return to the office four days a week, says Iger

Disney CEO Bob Iger told hybrid employees on Monday (January 9) that they must return to corporate offices four days a week.

Disney CEO Bob Iger told hybrid employees on Monday (January 9) that they must return to corporate offices four days a week.

Coming into effect in March, Iger stressed the importance of in-person collaboration, according to a report from CNBC.

“In a creative business like ours, nothing can replace the ability to connect, observe, and create with peers that comes from being physically together, nor the opportunity to grow professionally by learning from leaders and mentors,” said Iger.

While other companies have been tightening return-to-office requirements, many major companies have opted to bring office workers back for 2-3 days per week, making Iger’s four-day office week relatively strict compared to most.

It comes less than two months after he returned to the helm of the company.
