Industry veterans Peter Cliff and Jos van der Steen, have launched a new company aimed at creating immersive experiences.
Called Conductr, the company will bring together designers, artists, engineers and developers, with plans to use the latest technology for the development of new narratives.
“After 16 years of working in the themed entertainment industry, Jos van der Steen and I are excited to announce that today we are launching our own venture,” said Cliff in a post on LinkedIn.
“Conductr. opens its doors today. It's our goal to harness emerging technologies and apply them to physical interactions with laser focus on telling story, illuminating imagination and encouraging emotional connections between guests.
“We’re proudly calling #Manchester our home, locating ourselves in the beating heart of #MediaCity, home of the #BBC, #ITV and the UK's fastest-growing tech hub.”
Cliff and Van der Steen have significant pedigree in the industry, having previously both worked for leading technology company Holovis.
