Smithsonian’s National Air and Space Museum hosts ISS livestream with astronaut Victor Glover

The NASA Astronaut came live from the International Space Station on December 3 to talk about his experiences

The Smithsonian’s National Air and Space Museum hosted the International Space Station on December 3, with astronaut Victor Glover beaming down to earth to talk about his time on board humanity’s home in orbit.

Glover, who is a NASA astronaut of the class of 2013 and pilot on the first operational flight of the SpaceX Crew-1, was broadcast around the world live via social media, where he spoke about the inner workings of the ISS and his experiences.

The live stream was part of an initiative by the National Air and Space Museum, and the National Museum of African American History and Culture to immortalise Glover’s trip to the ISS. He is the first black person ever to live on the space station.
