nWave unveils new attractions title ‘Meg and the Lost Scepter’

Developed specifically for attractions, nWave’s newest title takes viewers on an adventure with skunk and martial artist Meg, as she searches for a missing relic

Animation studio nWave has revealed its latest title: Meg and the Lost Scepter.

Officially launched at this year’s IAAPA Expo in Orlando, US, Meg and the Lost Scepter was developed specifically for attractions and is available as both a large format 2D/3D film and a 3D/4D attractions film.

Inspired by nWave’s full-length feature Chickenhare and the Hamster of Darkness, the film follows a trio of adventurers as they search for the lost sceptre of the Hamster of Darkness. Visitors join Meg, a skunk and martial artist, and her friends Chickenhare and Abe, as they take on piggie armies, quicksand and a series of high-octane chases in their search for the missing relic.

“We’re very happy to have launched Meg and the Lost Scepter at IAAPA,” nWave’s marketing and communication co-ordinator, Alexandre Milazzo told Planet Attractions.

“The enthusiastic feedback we’ve received has been thrilling and we had fun reworking our latest animated feature Chickenhare and the Hamster of Darkness into a vibrant 4D attraction through the lens of our favourite skunk; Meg.

“Audiences really seem to connect with this intrepid, determined daredevil. Seeing her impact on our community is the best reward for us.”
