The UK’s oldest theme park, Blackgang Chine on the Isle of Wight, will introduce a new Zamperla-designed attraction when it reopens at the end of March.
Called ‘Extinction’, the new ride will be the park’s largest, offering a ‘hair-raising’ pendulum swing capable of reaching 18m (59ft) heights, as well as 360-degree vertical rotations. It will be set slightly back from the cliff’s edge, swinging riders high above the ocean and offering stunning, albeit brief, views across the English Channel.
“This is not just any ride – it’s a testament to Blackgang Chine’s ability to innovate and provide visitors with unforgettable experiences,” said Blackgang Chine park director Dominic Wray.
“Our rich and long heritage is a result of our commitment to pushing boundaries and staying ahead of the curve.
