Dutch rollercoaster manufacturer Vekoma has revealed details of a new AU$35m (US$23m, €21.2m, £18.2m) family thrill ride opening at Australia’s Dreamworld later this new year.
Called Jungle Rush, the ride will serve as the star attraction in the park’s new Rivertown land and is Vekoma’s first switchback coaster model.
While details of the ride experience are currently being kept under wraps, Vekoma has revealed that the ride design supports several cycle paths, suggesting that the coaster will offer multiple ride experiences.
The attraction’s theming is being developed by Pico Play, a global leader in attraction planning, design, development and construction.
