With attractions including Lagoon Park’s Primordial winning a number of awards in 2023, Triotech is well placed for new product and attractions launches in 2024.

Looking into the year ahead, Triotech’s year is unfolding with new theme park openings across Asia, the Middle East and Europe.

Still to be announced, these projects follow the success of Lagoon Park’s one-of-a-kind Primordial attraction, which opened to the public toward the end of 2023. Offering new innovation, the hybrid combines a three-level rollercoaster and a dark ride, with the attraction offering interactivity, including a shooting element, and a ‘fork-in-the-road’ that changes how the experience reaches its dramatic climax.

The ride was ranked the number one Best New Theme Park Attraction in USA Today’s fan-voted 10Best Readers' Choice Awards, with Primordial beating the likes of Wildcat’s Revenge at Hersheypark, Pipeline at SeaWorld Orlando and Big Bear Mountain at Dollywood.

On the FEC and arcade side of its business, Triotech has launched its SuperBlaster product, which is an innovative four-seat coin-op simulator recently unveiled at IAAPA Expo in Orlando, Florida. Designed for a small footprint and offering a high ROI, SuperBlaster includes a full content library in an attendant-free format. Triotech will also launch a new film for its interactive VR coin-op simulator, Storm.

In the Edutainment segment, The Malta National Aquarium is home to a brand new attraction, with Triotech supplying a new immersive experience that takes visitors on an underwater adventure for an encounter with some of the ocean’s most impressive creatures.

Called The Deep Explorer, the immersive attraction invites visitors of all ages on an educational journey to explore the undersea world, utilising a dynamic motion cabin accommodating groups of up to 20 visitors for a simulated descent into the abyss.

Triotech is also working with partner BoldMove on the latest iteration of the award-winning Smash and Reload dark ride.

Triotech’s portfolio of attractions includes Interactive Dark Rides, 4D Theatres, Interactive Dark Coasters, VR experiences, Flying Theatres, Walkthroughs, edutainment experiences, and an array of coin-op games.

From waterpark suppliers and media specialists to creative designers, dark ride producers and operations specialists, Planet Attractions has gone to every corner of the globe to find out what’s hot in 2024. To see the full Supplier Showcase, click here.
