A collection of 38 UK theme parks will battle it out in this year’s UK Theme Park Awards, with Alton Towers, Thorpe Park and Blackpool Pleasure Beach among the heavyweights set to go head-to-head for the title of the UK’s best theme park

The nominees for this year’s UK Theme Park Awards 2024 have been announced, with Alton Towers, Thorpe Park and Blackpool Pleasure beach among the contenders for Theme Park of the Year.
Joined by the likes of Paultons Park, Drayton Manor, and last year’s Theme Park of the Year, Chessington World of Adventures, for the fifth year, the British public will be able to vote for their favourite theme parks in the prestigious national awards.
Determined by combining thousands of public votes with scores from an expert judging panel, this year’s awards feature 22 different voting categories. Across these categories, 28,652 nominations were received, with a total of 38 theme parks nominated for awards in 2024.
The 2023 edition of the UK Theme Park Awards proved to be wildly popular, with last year’s edition seeing 229,427 public votes cast.
From July 22 until September 1, nominations for the 2024 awards are open, with the public able to vote at ukthemeparkawards.com
