Buda, Texas, will be the location of a brand new US$1.5m golf-themed family entertainment centre, after city council members approved incentive funding of up to US$400,000 to realise the project.
Expected to open in 2025, Tap In will cover 7,000sq ft (650sq m) and will feature mini golf, a virtual golf simulator bay, and a bar, among other features. The development will be a part of the Corner on Main - a mixed-use development featuring leisure and retail.
“We know that we needed more indoor entertainment in the area that’s great for adults and families,” said Tap In co-owner Jennifer Wibl, speaking to Austin Business Journal.
“Our main goal is to create a space where people can really find community to engage with each other.”
