Simtec Systems has announced the appointment of Alexander Bresinsky as its new Director Business Development.
A supplier of flying theatres, entertainment attractions, motion-based simulators and dark rides, Simtec has recruited the industry veteran, who will now work to help it remain a leader in the sector.
According to Bresinsky, he is looking forward to exciting challenges in developing innovative and unique ride systems for the attractions industry: “Motion rides and motion simulation technology marked the beginning of my career, and the engineering required for this has always fascinated me,” he said.
“I am very happy to continue on this path together with Simtec, which I have come to value very highly in all this time”.
Bresinsky has industry pedigree going back decades, with more than 30 years working in themed entertainment. He joins from MKTEngineering and has previously held roles at companies including ART+COM and Flying Saucer. He has also represented the Themed Entertainment Association as a member of the board and as vice president EME.
Supporting Simtec’s clients and partners in the initial and early stages of project development, Bresinsky is taking on some of the roles of Andreas Stickel, who has now assumed the role of company CEO.
“Alexander brings extensive experience and technical expertise to our global team,” said Stickel. “He has acted many years in similar senior roles and has a strong network within the entertainment industry.”
