Siam Park partners with ProSlide for impressive new addition

Tenerife’s Siam Park has announced the opening of a brand new dueling water coaster as its next major attraction.

A development from ProSlide, the PipelineBlast installation, dubbed Saifa, has been designed to work with the topography of the park, using native rock formations to create a unique experience found nowhere else.

According to ProSlide, the slide features inclines that are 100% steeper than a conventional blaster model, which is powered by water propulsion technology. A double slide, riders will travel at 10m (33ft) per second and will see them race across 306m (1,000ft) of twists and turns over an 82m (269ft) descent.

The slide also establishes new standards for efficiency and environmental friendliness with a 50% increase in payload capacity, a 50% drop in power consumption, and a 25% reduction in water usage.
