Attractions technology provider Semnox Solutions has been named technology partner for Palooza Park, a major theme park in Marrakech, Morocco.
The partnership marks Semnox’s first collaboration with a theme park in the country and saw Palooza Park adopt several of Semnox’s venue management technologies towards the end of last year.
Barcode-enabled disposable wristbands, ticket sales, entry validation and weather-proof deducting agents are among the solutions that have been implemented across the park, while Access Gates powered by Tixera’s XCESS Reader (Barcode Scanner) have been installed to create a streamlined guest experience.
The park’s three quick service F&B service counters have also been equipped with Semnox’s POS system, which manages restaurant and cafeteria sales to create a seamless experience for both guests and workers.
“We have been seeking a comprehensive ticketing solution that can effectively address control and F&B requirements,” said Palooza Park owner Othman Benabdeljelil.
“We are pleased to adopt Tixera Park’s solution, and the transition from our old system has been seamless.”
Meghashyam, sales head - MEA Parks at Semnox Solutions, adds: “The project has been particularly noteworthy in its approach to comprehensively understanding the customer’s journey and requirements.
“We accomplished this by working closely with the Palooza Park team during the implementation phases. The park’s team was able to utilise the benefits of Semnox’s comprehensive solution and our team’s experience with multiple such implementations.”
The news comes after Semnox was named a key partner for Wokivia, a chain of new concept edutainment centres located in Mexico. The partnership has seen several Semnox solutions, including RFID readers, wristbands and turnstile-based access control, rolled out at Wokivia’s newest location in Merida, in Yucatán, Mexico.
“Semnox’s technological solutions allow streamlined operations, improving the management and experience of visitors. Both companies share values of innovation and integrity and put the customer at the centre,” commented Vanessa San Martin, managing director of Wokivia-Mexico.
