IAAPA has taken a closer look at the Orlando Freefall and Orlando Slingshot, with both attractions being additions to International Drive at ICON Park.






IAAPA has taken a closer look at the Orlando Freefall and Orlando Slingshot, with both attractions being additions to International Drive at ICON Park.

Both creating a visible presence on the Orlando skyline, the two new thrill rides opened at the end of December, with both world-record-setting rides sure to bring new business to the popular location.

Slingshot stands 300ft (91.4m) tall with riders launched approximately 450ft (137m) straight into the air. Freefall measures 430ft (131m) tall, making it the world’s tallest free-standing drop tower.

The two new thrill rides join the existing Orlando Starflyer and the Wheel at ICON Park, both of which stand at over 400ft (122m) tall.
