A star studded line-up has paid homage to rock legends Alice in Chains, by performing interpretations of some of the Seattle group's best known anthems in a live one-off internet performance from the Museum of Pop Culture.
The museum has been inspiring Seattle's creativity since it's opening at the turn of the Millennium.
Focusing on music, film, science fiction, gaming and more, the venue stays on trend with frequently changing exhibits; all at the base of the city's famous Space Needle.
Adapting to pandemic existence, MoPop honoured Seattle's very own Alice in Chains, by taking it's annual Founders Award benefit online.
An unforgettable performance by the band themselves was amplified by interpretations of some of the groups classic tracks by a host of inspired artists.
Making appearances were fellow Emerald City natives, Heart, Foo Fighters drummer Taylor Hawkins and Washingtonian Krist Novoselic, one of the founding fathers of Nirvana.
In addition, rock leviathans Metallica and Korn, Smashing Pumpkins frontman Billy Corgan and the City and Colour himself Dallas Green graced the camera on what was a fascinating evening, evocative of AiC's impressive 30-plus years in the music business.
