Former Disney man Michael Jungen has taken up a new position as the president of WhiteWater’s Vantage division.
Part of the WhiteWater family of companies, the Vantage platform is a guest engagement and management tool that helps operators to unify their systems around visitors, for seamless, personalised experiences that boost satisfaction.
In his new role with WhiteWater, Jungen will work to “scale Vantage to help parks around the world take their performance to the next level”.
Spending more than two decades with Disney, Jungen has played a key role in the Disney Parks Next Generation Experience project, leading the invention, development, and implementation of MagicBand and MyMagic+ technologies. He also spent time with cruise operator Carnival and most recently acted as global vice president of CX Solutions Technology for Aristocrat Gaming.
“It’s as if my entire career has been preparing me for this position,” said Jungen.
“In Vantage, I see a platform which can revolutionise how parks connect to both their employees and guests. It is a game-changer and I’m thrilled to take the lead. It perfectly fits my vision to help make venues welcoming, engaging places for all who enter.”
