South Korea is about to welcome a major new theme park addition with the launch of Lotte World Adventure Busan on Thursday (March 31).
The new attraction has been designed by Legacy Entertainment, with the launch marking the ninth project by Legacy for Lotte World.
The park, which held a soft opening period between March 17 and March 20, features six immersive themed areas. Signature attractions include a Mack launch coaster, a Mack Super Splash, a Zamperla Giant Swing, and an ABC Rides-designed flume. The park will also feature Korea’s first “rollercoaster restaurant”.
Lotte World Adventure Busan will act as the centrepiece of Busan’s Osiria Tourism Complex, which has been envisioned as a premier tourist destination for the Korean city. Other attractions in the complex include a premium outlet mall, a hillside luge, a science museum, a golf club and an IKEA store. Future additions will also include a Hilton hotel and a waterpark.
