JRA has announced a company restructuring that sees Mark Amos promoted to the role of executive VP, while former president Keith James becomes chairman.
A longtime employee, Amos joined JRA in 2004 as a designer. During his tenure, he has played significant roles in several major projects, including Ferrari World Abu Dhabi, Angry Birds Activity Park and the recently-opened Robotron attraction for MSC Cruises.
In his new role, he will be responsible for the studio’s creative direction, as well as operations and team management. Amos will also lead business development for JRA, as well as RWS Entertainment Group’s other subsidiaries.
The news coincides with the announcement that former JRA president Keith James is to take on the role of chairman. The new position will see James taking a step back from the company’s day-to-day operations, instead serving as an ambassador for JRA, travelling to represent the company and build business relationships at industry events worldwide.
“As we continue to integrate JRA into our global portfolio of companies it’s wonderful to have a leader who has both two decades of experience at JRA and a strong vision for its future,” said Ryan Stana, founder and CEO of RWS Entertainment Group.
“This new structure plays perfectly to both Mark and Keith’s strengths.”
