The winners of IAAPA’s prestigious award programmes, including the Hall of Fame, Service Awards and Brass Rings, will now be announced in advance of the IAAPA Expo via Facebook

The winners of the annual Brass Ring Awards are among those who will be named during the virtual event

IAAPA is changing the way it announces the winners of its annual awards programmes, revealing the winners ahead of its annual conference via live stream.

Starting November 1, each day at 11 am EST, the global attractions body will announce a new category of winners and inductees via Facebook.

“We invite the entire attractions community to join us as we announce this year’s outstanding winners and Hall of Fame Inductees,” said Hal McEvoy, president and CEO.

“The IAAPA Awards programmes honour and celebrate excellence, service, passion, creativity and dedication to the global attractions industry, and we are excited by the diversity of experience and innovation this year’s winners represent.”

The awards programme will be as follows:

IAAPA Hall of Fame Awards (November 1)

The IAAPA Hall of Fame honours individuals whose work and accomplishments have made significant and lasting contributions to the global attractions industry.

IAAPA Service Awards (November 2)

The IAAPA Service Awards, including the IAAPA Lifetime Service Award, the IAAPA Outstanding Service Award, and the IAAPA Meritorious Service Award, honour individuals for their outstanding contributions to IAAPA and the global attractions industry.

IAAPA Young Professional of the Year Award (November 3)

IAAPA Brass Ring Awards (November 3-5)

The IAAPA Brass Ring Awards recognise amusement parks, water parks, zoos, aquariums, museums, science centres, family entertainment centres (FECs), and attractions excellence in categories including food and beverage, games and retail, human resources, live entertainment, marketing, new products, and exhibits.
