Triotech has announced the launch of its latest theme park attraction - with the company calling the interactive dark coaster at Salt Lake City's Lagoon Park a ‘next generation’ development.
Called ‘Primordial’ the collaboration between Triotech and Lagoon Park is a three-level coaster combined with an interactive dark ride attraction and opened to the public earlier this month.
Featuring eight media-based scenes and alternate endings, the attraction offers both an indoor and outdoor coaster experience, with the attraction covering more than 6,600sq m (71,000sq ft).
The new addition to Lagoon Park offers a high visitor throughput, as well as encouraging repeat visits as guests experience a number of surprises depending on the path they choose to free the heroes.
Set in and outside a large mountain, riders are sent on a journey to free the Dragon Dragnor and the mystical Owl Astradir, in turn, restoring harmony to the Kingdom of the regal lynx Queen Azdra.
The new addition to Lagoon Park offers a high visitor throughput, as well as encouraging repeat visits as guests experience a number of surprises depending on the path they choose to free the heroes.

These different endings will keep guests guessing, and of course, keep them coming back to the ride to experience all its variants.”
Triotech provided design, story, show, theming, audio and special effects, as well as the development of a new blaster concept that can withstand the twists, turns, and falls of the ART Engineering-manufactured coaster.

Triotech is also showcasing a number of other projects at this year’s IAAPA Expo Europe, including its stand-up flying theatre attraction and the Qube - a coin-operated media-based attraction aimed at arcades and FECs.
It’s been an exciting year for the company, which recently announced a strategic partnership with Seven that will see Triotech design and construct several state-of-the-art dark rides at entertainment venues across Saudi Arabia. Also this year, the company opened its highly anticipated PUBG: Battlegrounds attraction at South Korea’s Lotte World, as well as working with BoldMove for the debut of the Champi’Foilies dark ride at French theme park Le Pal. The company has also this year launched the Carnival Chaos Hyper Ride at Niagara Falls in Toronto, Canada.
