A new immersive experiential destination is set to open at the Dubai Mall later this year.
Called House of Hype, the visitor attraction in the UAE is billed as a “celebration of hype culture” and immerses visitors in digital worlds dedicated to fashion, gaming, music, technology and NFTs.
Described both as a “portal to the metaverse” and an “IRL gaming experience,” the attraction will span 100,000sq ft (9,300sq m) and will feature 29 rooms, each designed to provide an “immersive sensory overload” and photo opportunities for social media.
HyperSpace is behind the development, with the company specialising in creating digital retailtainment destinations, with previous projects including AYA, a sister attraction dedicated to psychedelia at the Wafi City Mall, also in Dubai.
“Customers can interact with NFTs, the Metaverse and with blockchain technology in a simplified and uncomplicated way,” said a HyperSpace statement.,
“There will be people, fashion and art. Attendees can play games, explore immersive worlds, attend events, and shop. As they have these experiences, they can record and share them on ther social media profiles.”
