Following a successful UK run, an illuminated light trail inspired by the Forbidden Forest from the Harry Potter and Fantastic Beasts franchises will soon debut in the US.
Opening at the Morven Park Estate in Leesburg, Virginia, in October 2022, Harry Potter: A Forbidden Forest Experience is an outdoor light trail aimed at Harry Potter fans of all ages.
Developed by Warners Bros Themed Entertainment in partnership with experiential designer firms Thinkwell, Unify and live-entertainment discovery platform Fever, the experience sees guests come face-to-face with a number of iconic scenes set inside the Forbidden Forest, encounter magical creatures such as centaurs, Hippogriffs and Nifflers, and practice casting spells.
At the end of the trail, guests will find a themed village offering several food and drink options, as well as a retail area selling Harry Potter and Fantastic Beasts merchandise.
“Harry Potter: A Forbidden Forest Experience promises a wonderful time for fans of all ages; giving them the opportunity to experience the magic of the wizarding world in a whole new way,” said a Fever statement.
Ticket prices for Harry Potter: A Forbidden Forest Experience start at US$25 for children and US$36 for adults. Fans can also sign up to a waiting list offering exclusive access to tickets.
