Planet Rides is the latest addition to the Planet Attractions portfolio
Planet Attractions is expanding its portfolio of websites, announcing the launch of its brand-new portal, www.planetrides.com.
Backed by significant growth and catering to both ride manufacturers and suppliers, Planet Rides is the first expansion of the Planet Attractions brand since its launch in December 2020.
After direct consultation with ride suppliers across the industry, Planet Rides will offer a focused look at all types of rides, including rollercoasters, dark rides, waterslides, flying theatres and much more.
As with Planet Attractions, Planet Rides will produce a host of original media content, including daily news, features, live updates, video and social posting. The site also hosts a dedicated jobs board for rides-related roles, as well as, diary dates and association events.
Exploring innovation within the sector, in addition to the well established Planet Attractions, Planet Rides will now add a new level of depth for those seeking to explore the sector even further, with relevant content appearing across both websites.
“The scope of content in this industry when it comes to rides is so vast we decided we needed to expand our operation to two websites,” said Tom Anstey, Editor-in-Chief of Planet Attractions.
“With this planetrides.com, you can now find everything you need when it comes to rides, be that news, events or supplier information.
“With both Planet Attractions catering to the wider attractions industry and Planet Rides to a busy sector, we want to do what we do best - create premium original content dedicated to your products and services.”
Planet Attractions holds media partnerships with a number of associations, events and publications, including IAAPA, MENELAC, Park World Excellence Awards, UK Theme Park Awards, the Dark Ride Database, Saudi Entertainment and Amusement Expo, DEAL, Brand Licensing Europe, Theme Park Vietnam, Seatrade Cruise Global and more to be announced in 2025.
