DEAL - the Dubai Entertainment Amusement and Leisure Exhibition - is urging companies to secure final spots ahead of an event it has said will “redefine the landscape of FECs, theme parks and the amusement industry”.

With industry brands from across the globe and thousands of visitors from more than 100 countries expected to attend, major players will be in attendance at this year’s event, taking place at the Dubai World Trade Centre from March 5-7, 2024.

2024 represents a landmark event for DEAL, with the show reaching its 30th year. According to DEAL, this special edition promises to act as a hub of innovation, with major deals to be signed at the show, while industry leaders will unveil groundbreaking products.

Concurrent with the DEAL event, visitors to the show can also take in MENALAC’s (Middle East and North Africa Leisure & Attractions Council) Leisure, Entertainment and Attractions Conference, which returns for its seventh edition. Starting March 4, 2024, the education event offers a platform for industry professionals to discuss ongoing challenges and opportunities and will feature a number of high profile speakers from the leisure and entertainment industries.

In partnership with DEAL, Dubai will also play host to the MENALAC Awards, with the prestigious event bringing together top names in the industry to celebrate attractions across the Middle East and North Africa region. The awards gala will be held on March 6 at Sky View in downtown Dubai.

The Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region continues to boom when it comes to development of visitor attractions, with a surge in demand for immersive entertainment experiences. This, says DEAL’s organisers, presents a strategic opportunity with DEAL serving as a catalyst for family entertainment and amusement ventures.

“The prospects for the FEC, theme parks, and amusement industry in the Middle East and Africa are witnessing unprecedented growth,” said Abdul Rahman Falaknaz, president of International Expo-Consults, the organisers of the show.

“With a surge in population, rising disposable incomes, and substantial investments in tourism, the region is becoming a hotspot for immersive entertainment experiences. DEAL 2024 provides a strategic platform for industry players to capitalise on these opportunities and position themselves at the forefront of the dynamic and thriving markets in the Middle East and Africa.”

DEAL urges exhibitors to book their booth now in order to “capitalise on the lucrative opportunities” the show presents. As the region positions itself as a global hub for entertainment and leisure, DEAL continues to sit at the forefront of the attractions industry in the region, connecting businesses with the market’s burgeoning entertainment landscape.
