Three names involved in the tourism and attractions industries have been named in the Dubai 100 - a list representing the 100 most powerful people in the UAE city.
With the city acting as a central hub for much of Middle Eastern business, the list includes a who’s who of names.
Ranked at 21, Bally Singh is co-founder and chairman of the Hoko Group, which consists of several separate entities, each creating its own distinctive brands and value. Working with the group, Singh has been involved with brands including the Abu Dhabi Department of Culture and Tourism and The Marriott Group among others.
The 23rd-ranked Sultan Bin Sulayem is group chairman and CEO of DP World. Among a long list of achievements, he established Nakheel, the real estate and tourism property development firm behind many Dubai projects, including an iconic project - The Palm.
At number 42 is Timothy Kelly, who sits at the helm of Atlantis The Palm as its managing director and executive vice president. He also helmed the expansion of the world’s biggest waterpark, Aquaventure, with the addition of 28 new attractions.
