Universal has announced plans to bring new attractions featuring Trolls, Shrek and Kung Fu Panda to the park with an all-new DreamWorks-themed land.
Set to open in 2024, the move is “a continuation of Universal’s commitment to rich storytelling that places guests of all ages in the most incredible and immersive environments,” said an announcement.
The new land is a refreshing of the park’s KidsZone space, which spans 16,000sq m (172,000sq ft). More details will be forthcoming, though Universal did reveal that the land would feature interactive play spaces and attractions that bring a number of popular franchises to life.
The plans follow that of the all-new Minion Land at the park, which features an interactive, immersive gaming experience, for the Villain Con Minion Blast.
