Despite Florida’s recent rise in COVID-19 cases, Disney is remaining committed to its ‘spooky season’, with the launch of its annual Halloween event.
From August until the end of October, the resort will be draped in full Halloween decoration including pumpkins at every turn, colourful décor, and special cavalcades.
In addition to its usual Halloween offering, Disney is also unveiling a brand-new event - the Disney After Hours Boo Bash.
The event is advertised as having trick-or-treating, special Halloween-themed food and drinks, and access to Disney World rides.
The experience lasts a total of three hours on selected dates and is being run in place of Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. Having not run in 2020 due to the pandemic, Disney decided to cancel the event earlier in the year and replace it with the Boo Bash.
Disney’s latest Halloween merchandise has also been released. Included in the line-up is the famous Mickey ears synonymous with Disney, replaced with pumpkins.
