Disney Experiences is set to launch a new premium queue-jump service, with the new solution debuting at its Disneyland resort in California and Disney World resort in Florida, US, at the end of October.
Called Lightning Lane Premier Pass, the service will be available to Disneyland guests from October 23 and Disney World guests from October 30 and will include one entry per guest to every attraction with a Lightning Lane entrance for a single day.
Aiming to streamline the guest experience, Lightning Lane Premier Pass promises to significantly reduce wait times for the resorts’ most sought-after attractions, allowing users to maximise their time in the parks.
The Lightning Lane Premier Pass will only be available to a limited number of guests and, unlike Disney’s Multi Pass and Single Pass options, will not require pre-bookings or timed returns.
However, the experience comes with a premium price tag, with guests at Disneyland expected to pay an additional US$400 (€369, £308) per person on top of their park ticket for the service.
At Disney World, meanwhile, the Lightning Lane Premier Pass will only be available to guests staying at Disney’s deluxe hotels, with prices varying from US$137.39 (€127, £105) to US$478.19 (€440, £367) depending on the park, date of visit and demand, in addition to the admission fee.
