Recognising influencers and content creators, this year’s Clamshell winners have been announced, with the awards showcasing some of the theme park community’s biggest and brightest names.
The awards, which this year entered their fourth edition, were created as an answer to the Thea Awards, Golden Ticket Awards and IAAPA Awards, which all recognise excellence in industry, but don’t acknowledge content creators and influencers.
“It's been a tumultuous year, as we know, and things in the community were starting to feel a little frost as we entered the month of December,” said Clamshells creator, Jordan Middleton, writing on her blog. “I'm really grateful that the Clamshells could be a little beacon of joy to tide us over, if only for a short while.”
This year’s shortlist saw more channels nominated than ever before - with more than 200 names submitted. The shortlisted nominees have been selected over 12 categories.
