A collection of 52 leading museums, galleries and art spaces in Tokyo, Japan, will team up to deliver a range of programming for a citywide art programme, taking place later this year.
Running from November 3-6, Art Week Tokyo is being run in collaboration with Art Basel and features 73 exhibitions over the course of four days. The event, says its organisers, is a showcase of the creativity and diversity of contemporary art in Tokyo.
Highlights include retrospective exhibitions of Lee Ufan and Shinro Ohtake, showcase of contemporary Japanese artists, online talks in Japanese and English and more.
For the event, all venues are being linked by a special bus service, with six routes connecting all participating venues. The bus service will also offer unlimited rides to those using the free AWT PASS app.
