At this year’s IAAPA Expo Europe, BoldMove will offer attendees a close-up look at its AR Hybrid Quest attraction.
Aimed at theme parks, AR Hybrid Quest is a mixed reality game that guests play on their smartphones.
Set in a dedicated area of the park, visitors enter the game via a virtual gate in a physical location, before being sent to stations throughout the park where they are given virtual tasks.
BoldMove will showcase the attraction’s capabilities with a virtual AR Portal on the stand (238).
Developed in partnership with ActiveME, the AR Portal will transfer guests to vivid worlds, including an underwater environment and a dinosaur-inhabited planet.
Guests can experience the technology first-hand during a series of 10-minute live demonstrations. The English speaking demos are set to take place on September 13, between 2 PM and 3 PM, while German and French sessions will run on September 14, between 11 AM and 12 PM and 3 PM and 4 PM respectively.
Additionally, the company will be exhibiting a 3D miniature of its flagship Smash & Reload dark ride, as well as its Waterslider VR concept. It will also offer 1:1 integrated storytelling sessions with AdventureLAB founder and CEO Klaus Sommer Paulsen.
Taking place at Excel London in the heart of the British capital, this year’s IAAPA Expo Europe will feature an extensive trade show floor with more than 500 exhibitors taking part, including Planet Attractions.
On the show floor, the Planet Attractions Media Zone will be located at Booth 234. The show will also feature several networking opportunities and a comprehensive education programme, including a panel hosted by Planet Attractions' editor-in-chief, Tom Anstey, titled ‘How to Make Friends and Influence People - Working with Influencers’. The session takes place September 15 from 10:30 - 11:30 am.
To book a meeting with Planet Attractions at IAAPA Expo Europe or for exhibitors to book an interview slot in the Media Zone, please send an email to our publisher Paul Thorman, who can be contacted at [email protected].
