Experience UK is bringing the UK Pavilion back to IAAPA Expo Europe for its sixth edition, with some of the UK’s top suppliers to the attractions industry set to be represented at the event.
Working in partnership with the British government and the UK’s Department for Business and Trade (DBT), Experience UK is hosting the pavilion, which will act as a “centrepiece of British excellence in the leisure and attractions industry”.
Designed by Katapult, the UK Pavilion’s central feature for the Amsterdam show will be Aardman’s popular IP, Shaun the Sheep. The work will be a collaboration of British companies, with LCI Productions bringing the 3D model to life. In addition, projection-mapped animations will be overlaid with Union Jack textures, using a projector from Christie and a server from 7th Sense.
Exhibiting on the stand will be a range of companies, including Ucargo, Holovis, BatFast, Singa, Wild Republic, Sports Coach Simulator and Semantic.
Experience UK will also be hosting a UK Trade Mission to the Netherlands, with delegates from leading companies set to meet British businesses.
The Department for Business and Trade will also host a hospitality lounge in the pavilion, offering a space for attendees to connect with industry leaders while also seeing the best that Britain has to offer.
Returning to RAI Amsterdam in the Netherlands from September 23-27, IAAPA Expo Europe will welcome attractions professionals from across the world as they explore the event’s vast 18,500sq m (199,000sq ft) tradeshow floor.
In addition to hosting the UK Pavilion, Experience UK is also hosting a social mixer, which will take place ahead of the show on September 23rd. Taking place at the Leonardo Royal Hotel Amsterdam, the event is free to attend. Click here for more information
