Experiential design collective Conductr has appointed Ben Dowson as the company’s new creative director.
A specialist in immersive, guest-focussed immersive and themed experiences, Dowson joins Conductr with more than 18 years experience in the themed entertainment and attractions industries, having previously held creative positions at Merlin Entertainments, Holovis, London Resort Company and Freeman Company.
Dowson has also helped create experiences for brands such as BBC Worldwide, Deliveroo and Hamleys Toy Stores.
In his new role, he will oversee Conductr’s creative department and will be responsible for developing new guest experiences, including concept, story and design.
“We're very excited to welcome Ben to the Conductr Team,” said Conductr founder and CEO, Peter Cliff, speaking to Planet Attractions:
“He has an exceptional track record of designing stand-out experiences for a range of high-profile attractions, brands and destinations.
“It's Conductr's mission to create unforgettable experiences that push technological boundaries whilst encouraging social connections. This is only achievable by collaborating with experts like Ben who has an unrelenting commitment to the story and the guest journey.”
Founded earlier this year by attractions industry veterans Cliff and Jos van der Steen, Conductr creates large-scale attractions and experiences using media and next-gen technologies to “captivate human connectivity and transform physical environments.”
