A world-first exhibition has opened its doors at Resort World Sentosa, with Universal Studios Singapore hosting a ‘behind the screams’ look at the operator’s iconic Horror Nights event.

Looking specifically at the event in Singapore, the exhibition covers Horror Nights from its inception there in 2011 to the latest edition in 2021.

Inside the exhibition, visitors will learn about iconic monsters such as Frankenstein, the Bride Dracula and the Wolfman, while also being told about the origin of Halloween Horror Nights.

Included in the exhibition will be the “Nine Icons of Halloween Horror Nights” - the nine headline acts from each of the previous Horror Night iterations at Universal Singapore. It will also take a special look at the IAAPA Brass Ring Award-winning March of the Dead experience, which was based on Dia de Los Muertos - a celebration of death.

For people interested in the makings of the event’s haunted houses, that’s covered too, with exhibits detailing and explaining each of the 33 uniquely designed houses that have appeared at the event since 2011.

Universal Singapore’s Trick or Thrills event, which features the Horror Nights exhibition, is running until November 7. The exhibition is described as “intense” and is not recommended for visitors under the age of 16.
