Disney has confirmed that Avengers Campus will expand into Europe this summer with the launch of the popular attraction at Disneyland Paris.
Opened to much fanfare in June 2021 at Disneyland in Calfornia, US, the French version of the attraction will also feature Web Slingers: A Spider-Man Adventure, though the anchor attraction for the land will be the existing Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster, which is currently undergoing an Iron Man retheming.
Disneyland Paris also recently renovated its Sleeping Beauty Castle, with the iconic attraction undergoing a year-long refurbishment to restore the 30-year-old icon to its former glory.
In addition to Avengers Campus and the castle renovations, Disney is also planning to celebrate its 30th-anniversary celebrations in style with a new show called ‘Dream… and Shine Brighter!’ and a pre-show experience - ‘Disney D-Light’. In this show, 200 drones, supplied by Dronisos, will fly in formation to form a sparkling number 30 in front of the renovated castle, with the show accompanied by a new song - Un monde qui s'illumine.
Disney is also developing Gardens of Wonder, an attraction comprising ten themed gardens featuring a selection of 30 kinetic Disney and Pixar sculptures.
