Attractions.io is set to showcase enhancements to its native wayfinding solution at this year’s IAAPA Expo Europe, with users able to enhance their navigation around attractions utilising the leading technology.

New for 2022, the enhancements to Attractions.io’s GPS-enabled technology allows guests to zoom into an attraction’s hand-illustrated maps to explore themed areas, exhibits, eateries and facilities in detail. They can also rotate their map to easily orient themselves during their visit.

Previously only available to users of Attractions.io’s mobile app solution, wayfinding will now be offered as a stand-alone feature, giving attractions of all sizes the option to integrate the technology with their existing guest experience solution or migrate entirely to Attractions.io’s core platform, which combines wayfinding, messaging, food ordering, a digital wallet and more into a complete digital concierge for guests.

“We know that many operators struggle to offer the seamless navigation experience guests expect after using apps like Google Maps,” said Mark Locker, CEO and founder of Attractions.io.

“By offering our wayfinding solution as a stand-alone product or within our core platform, we hope to support operators in providing an exceptional navigation experience regardless of the solution they use for their guest experience management.”

In addition to its wayfinding feature, Attractions.io has also launched a new, real-time visitor view for operators who can now use live heatmaps to identify high and low footfall areas of their park and make data-driven decisions about staffing.

Attractions.io will be located at booth 3511.

Taking place at Excel London in the heart of the British capital, this year’s IAAPA Expo Europe will feature an extensive trade show floor with more than 500 exhibitors taking part, including Planet Attractions.

On the show floor, the Planet Attractions Media Zone will be located at Booth 234. The show will also feature several networking opportunities and a comprehensive education programme, including a panel hosted by Planet Attractions' editor-in-chief, Tom Anstey, titled ‘How to Make Friends and Influence People - Working with Influencers’. The session takes place September 15 from 10:30 - 11:30 am.

To book a meeting with Planet Attractions at IAAPA Expo Europe or for exhibitors to book an interview slot in the Media Zone, please send an email to our publisher Paul Thorman, who can be contacted at [email protected].
