Media tech specialist 7thSense has been recognised for two of its new products in the 2023 ISE Awards.
The products – the R-Series 10 and Juggler 2 – were awarded Best of Show in the ISE Awards Sound and Video Contractor category and form part of the company’s new Performer range.
Officially launched during the ISE Expo, which is currently underway in Barcelona, the Performer range is a line of performance-driven media-supporting technologies designed specifically for creatives to enable them to tell their media-based stories.
It offers five products: the R-Series 10, Juggler, Actor, Conjurer and Compere. Each product is named for a role typically found in a performance environment and is designed to work independently or as part of the wider system.
The R-Series 10 is 7thSense’s new hardware platform designed to host its Actor, Conjurer and Delta Media Servers. It’s available as both a standalone hardware solution and is capable of running generative engines for demanding and complex media-based attractions.
The Juggler has been described as the ‘backbone of complex high-resolution systems’ and is 7thSense’s pixel processor range. Designed to streamline, simplify and optimise workflows, the newly-expanded version offers two ultra-high-speed slots for signal networks/bussing and four high-speed slots to support a variety of baseboard signal interfaces including DisplayPort and HDMI.
The collection is completed by the Actor; the company’s next-generation media server that has been optimised for uncompressed video playback, the Compere; an intelligent workflow interface that serves as the range’s hub, and the Conjurer; a generative content solution that incorporates generative engines such as Unreal Engine, Unity, TouchDesigner and Notch, into Compere’s workflow.
In addition, the Performer line is compatible with 7thSense’s existing products, including its original Delta Media Server, with its Medialon system acting as a connector between the two product ranges.
“ISE seems to grow in popularity and attendance each year and with that, the competition in our awards becomes even fiercer,” said an ISE statement.
“This year, we received a record amount of entries, which means that those who won should be extremely proud of their achievement – their produce showed true innovation and hugely impressed our judging panel. A well-deserved congratulations from the entire awards team.”
7thSense is showcasing the R-Series 10 and Juggler 2 on its stand #5E250 at Fira de Barcelona until February 3, 2023.
