Creative software and technology company 7thSense has announced the acquisition of design, consulting and production company Bluebox Attractions.
Specialising in experience design with a focus on hyper immersive solutions using state of the art technologies, Bluebox offers a new arrow to 7thSense’s quiver, allowing the company to now offer dedicated global product support that enables storytellers in their creative visions.
As part of the acquisition, Bluebox’s founder and CEO, Mike Ross, has taken up a new position of principal systems and support engineer at 7thSense.
“Having worked with 7thSense products since 2009, Bluebox Attractions has provided specialist experience design, consulting and production services for global theme parks, destination attractions, museums and live events,” said Ross, speaking on the acquisition.
“This strategic acquisition will allow us to bring the many years experience of Bluebox Attractions to the rapidly growing 7thSense and Medialon user community."
Matt Barton, CEO at 7th Sense also said: “Exceptional quality, innovation, performance and support are at the core of everything we do, and the addition of Bluebox Attractions’ skillset allows us to continue our highly-focused product support for the Asia Pacific region.”
7thSense and Bluebox Attractions have collaborated on a number of projects over the past decade, most recently the Thea-award-winning D.R.E.A.M. Centre project in the southeast of England. BlueBox has offices in Orlando, US, London, England, and Melbourne, Australia.
