A resort earmarked for Dubai could find its home in Abu Dhabi, after it was revealed that the Moon Resort has “caught the eye” of a number of investors.
The US$5bn (€5.17bn, £4.47bn) Moon Resort is a concept by Resort by Canadian architectural company and intellectual property licensor, Moon World Resorts.
Set to stand 224m (735ft) tall, the Moon Resort has seen a surge of interest from investors, with co-founder Michael R. Henderson telling Hotelier Middle East the project had “gone crazy”.
“Moon has been extremely well received by the global media and indeed by the Emirati people,” he said. “We have been astounded by the number of UAE-based individuals who have reached out to share their kind words of encouragement.”
