Disney spends US$13m on new drone show for Paris theme park









Disney has spend an estimated US$13m (€11.9m, £10.5m) on a new drone show for Disneyland Paris, with the Marvel-themed spectacular debuting at the park over the weekend.

Called Avengers: Power The Night, the eight-minute show creates 3D shapes in the sky using 500 drones, with the images appearing to turn in the night air and accompanied by projections on the surrounding buildings and a fireworks display .

Disney has worked with French supplier Dronisos on the show, with the company having produced more than 50,000 displays since its inception in 2016.
