Disney has grand plans for its Spider-Man attractions, with the operator developing new interactive merchandise based on future films featuring the web-slinger, as well as possibly inserting new scenes to keep the ride current.

“We can 100% swap out the scenes in future,” said Scot Drake, portfolio creative executive at Walt Disney Imagineering, speaking to Forbes.

“This is such a dynamic story universe that nothing gets set in stone. Everything we have done has flexibility, repeatability and dynamic story-telling at its heart.”

The Web Slingers ride, which is the star attraction for both Avengers Campuses at Disneyland Paris and the Disneyland Resort in California, has been a key driver for Disney since opening.
